Toyota Canada has announced 2022 4Runner pricing, finally giving fans of the vehicle a chance to get their hands on one.
Toyota has already revealed a lot of information about the 2022 4Runner throughout the summer. A new TRD Sport model is now available for both city and highway driving. It comes with a mixture of features from the TRD Off Road and Limited, including a hood scoop, front spoiler and black roof rails.
The TRD Sport will come with X-REAS suspension, commonly known as Cross-Lined Relative Absorber System. This allows the 4Runner to be more stable when cornering by pumping oil from the inside rear wheel to the outside front wheel.
Also, the Limited trim gains a panoramic view monitor, the TRD Pro gets an off-road variant of that camera system called the Multi-Terrain Monitor, and the TRD Pro is dunked in Lime Rush for its unique hue.
Some changes to the exterior colour options. Aside from Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, and Super White, Lime Rush is now the colour of the year for the TRD Pro. Lunar Rock is available on both the TRD Off Road and the new TRD Sport. The Trail model is down to having only a single colour option: Army Green.
With the addition of the TRD Sport, Toyota is removing two other trims. The Nightshade and Venture trims are no longer available for the 2022 lineup.
The 2022 4Runner is not spared from price hikes for the new year, like many other cars. As a result, the 2022 prices are higher. The 2022 4runner pricing for Canada starts from $47,250 for the Trail model, with the TRD Pro being the most pricey as usual, tagged for $65,250. The highest hike is the TRD Pro (increased by $2,820) and the TRD Off-Road (increased by $2,290).
